Libby was born on March 17, 1972 to Bill and Peggy Windsor in Boonville, Missouri. She was the youngest of eight siblings and grew up on the family farm where she developed a deep appreciation for nature and animals. She attended Boonville High School where she earned academic accolades, competed in basketball and tennis, and enjoyed performing in choir and musical theater. She was blessed to grow in her faith at First Baptist Church of Boonville where she made many treasured memories in the youth group and summer camps.
Remembered as a deeply creative, adventurous, and loving soul, Libby was a gifted singer who shared her love of music throughout her life. She studied music at both Belmont University and Texas Christian University (TCU). Her faith and her voice found a home at beautiful Holy Cross Lutheran Church, where she cherished her time worshipping the Lord and serving in the choir.
Libby had a lifelong passion for exploration. In her youth, her adventures took her across the globe to Australia, England, and the Netherlands. In later years, she combined her love of travel with her passion for fitness, embarking on cycling travel tours to discover new sights in South Carolina, New Mexico, Florida, and the East Coast. Whether cycling on a scenic highway or boarding a flight, her absolute favorite destination was always the beach. Closer to home, she brought her vibrant energy and encouragement to others as a dedicated aquafit and spin class instructor.
An avid animal lover, Libby was known for her compassionate heart. Over the years, she opened her home and her heart to many rescue pets, giving them a second chance at a loving life. Her bright, adventurous, and kind presence will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and church community. She was deeply loved by her family and friends!
She was preceded in death by parents, Bill and Peggy Windsor; and brother, David Windsor.
