Ella Marie Stewart

Ella Marie Stewart, born February 23, 1926, in Marksville, Louisiana, passed peacefully on August 20, 2021. She is joining in heaven her husband, ER, son, James, daughter, Christine, brother, Charles and many other family members to lovingly greet her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021, from 10:00am to 10:45am at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Home. Graveside will follow at Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park at 11:00am

Left to carry on the memory and stories, daughter Sharon and "son and favorite" John Short of Fort Worth, and daughter, Sandra McCarver of Tomball; seven grandchildren, several great and even a couple of great-great grandchildren; one special little BooBoo; sisters and best friends, Beverly Bird, Louise Crye, Rae Dupuy and brother Jr. Ponthier and many loving nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

John Short, Jason Short, Shawn Short, Robert McCarver and James McCarver will serve as pallbearers.

Words used to describe her, one of a kind, strong, amazing, a blessing to everyone, loved by all, never met a stranger interested, inquisitive. You may have called her Ella, Mom, El, Grandma, Sister, Aunt El-La or Nannie. Whatever you called her, she loved her family very much and always enjoyed our get togethers. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
