GRANDVIEW — Elva Ethel Gober, 101, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012.
Services: Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Handley Church of Christ, with burial to follow at Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park.
She was born Jan. 7, 1911, in Jackson County, Okla., to Ed and Nora Bell Smith Doughten. She married Joe W. Gober on July 4, 1947.
She was a beautician before she had children then opted to be a homemaker and stay at home mom. She was a member of Handley Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents; two brothers; three sisters; a son, James E. Gober; a son-in-law, Robert Moulder; and a great-grandaughter, Chasity Ann Schneider.
She is survived by daughters, Cheryl Moulder of Grandview and Charlotte Moulder of Cleburne; son, Joe H. Gober of Jermyn; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
