

Elva Lee Harrington passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 8, 2022. She was born in Rainbow, Texas to Cleve and Flossie Hoodenpyle on July 22, 1938. Lee graduated in 1956 from Trimble Tech High School. She married Clifford Harrington on July 14, 1967.
As she was raising her four children, Lee enjoyed sewing clothes for her family and watching her children’s sporting and drill team events. She had a unique way of making each child feel special. Lee was a retired office manager for a doctor’s office. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, and baking. Lee was a devoted Christ follower. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Everman since 1968, where she taught Sunday School for decades.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Clifford Harrington; her parents; daughter, Sandra Hagar; and grandson, Matthew Phillips. Survivors include children Janet Johnson and her husband, Randy; Douglas Beagles and his wife, Laura; Kenneth Harrington and his wife, Andrea. Grandchildren include Bryan Manley, Mallory Schuit and her husband, Peter, Nicholas Phillips, Payne Beagles and his wife, Sarah, Hope Harrington, and Trevor Harrington; and four great-grandchildren.
