He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carol Robertson, his daughter Cyndi Holder and spouse Whitney Holder, his son Jason Robertson and spouse Vanessa Robertson in addition to his grandchildren Jack Frazier and Clover Early, and great grandson Joshua Frazier. He is also survived by his sister LaVada Ledford and spouse Sonny Ledford along with many other cousins, nieces and nephews.
A man of faith, Ernie was a long time member of Normandale Baptist Church. He was a wonderful husband, and a loving father and grandfather. He was deeply loved by his wife and family, and will be greatly missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth, located at 7100 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76134, on January 2, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at the same venue on January 3, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
