Esperanza Davila

Esperanza Davila, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025, at the age of 88 years old. Esperanza, known by her family and friends as, Hope and Lanchi, will be greatly missed, and her memories will console us, reminding us of all the wonderful times, laughs and love we shared.

Hope was born on November 30, 1936, in San Antonio, Texas, to Guadalupe and Carlos Ortiz Sr. In her childhood, she loved spending time with her siblings, grandparents and playing outside. Hope often shared recollections of these times with anyone who would visit.

Esperanza was Married to Daniel Davila June 16, 1952 , they raised a wonderful family together until his passing.

Hope was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and her family meant the world to her. Esperanza was preceded in death by daughters Wilma Montemayor, Mary Jane Galindo and her husband, Daniel Davila Sr. and son-in-law, David Flores, Sr.

Esperanza is survived by daughters, Diana (Tomas) Gomez, Elaine (Steve) Ortiz, Joann Flores and sons, Danny Davila, Jr., Michael (Mary) Davila and Mark (Valerie) Davila, and grandson, Daniel Ortega, with whom she resided. She also leaves behind siblings, Carlos Ortiz, Jr., Lupana Mendez, Joe Mike Ortiz, Irma Cabrera and Elma Trevino, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews who will forever treasure the laughs, the love, and the unforgettable moments they shared together.

A rosary will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home on Monday June 16,2025 @ 6pm ,and a mass of Catholic burial will be held on Tuesday June 17,2025 at 10:30am , Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. 201 Thornhill Dr, Fort Worth,TX 76115
