Ethel enjoyed many passions in her life, like spending time with her family and friends, especially her grand and great-grandchildren. She loved entertaining and preparing great food for everyone to eat. Ethel was a "hostess with the most-est". She tried to do everything big even before moving to Texas.
Ethel accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Zion missionary Baptist church in East St. Louis, Illinois, where she sang in the church choir. Ethel graduated High school from East Saint Louis, Lincoln High School in 1969. During her school-age years, she participated in many activities, debate club, and debutante events, won the snowball queen where her father escorted her because no one else was allowed, was at the top of her theatrics class, and excelled in academics. After high school she pursued college. After her college days she entered the workforce. Most of her jobs were secretarial administration, city clerk, mayor's office, cruise ship event coordinator, and Challenge Unlimited, assisting people with special needs on all military facilitators. Ethel’s home office was in Wisconsin where she was promoted to supervision over all services.
