Service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.
He was born to the late George and Kittie Muncy in Slidell. He served in the U.S. Army, worked in the aircraft industry as a supervisor for 35 years and was a CLU (certified life underwriter).
A special thank-you to the aides who made life on his terms possible.
Eugene was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda, and his son, Gene Muncy.
Survivors: Daughters, Marilyn Christopherson and Janet Simmans and husband, Ralph; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
