Mr. Felipe Rodriguez Pelayo

Felipe Pelayo was born to Jessie Sr. and Ofelia Pelayo on January 4, 1958. He was the third of nine children. He grew up and attended the San Antonio public schools. After graduating high school, Felipe joined the United States Marine Corp where he was very proud and honored to have served his country. After being honorably discharged from the Marines, Felipe worked various jobs throughout his life and even worked for the Circus Vargas while living in California.

Felipe moved to Fort Worth in 1996, where he met his wife of 27 years, Sharon McGill-Pelayo and began working at Boeing Electronics. After retiring Felipe often volunteered working the elections for Tarrant County. In his leisure he was a big fan of WWE wrestling and the Dallas Cowboys.

Felipe joined our heavenly father on February 18, 2024 at a local hospital from pneumonia. He was preceded in death by his father, Jessie Pelayo Sr.; his brothers, Michael "Mikey" and Robert Pelayo; and his sister, Olga Castro.

Felipe is survived by his wife Sharon of Fort Worth, Texas; his mother, Ofelia Pelayo of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Jessie Pelayo Jr. (Dorothy) of Burleson, Texas; sisters, Celia Daniels and Maria Veloz of San Antonio, Texas; Angelina Pelayo-Huizar of Las Vegas, Nevada; and Delfina Grasso of Florida, and daughter, Khatalie.
