Fidencio S. Longoria

Fidencio was born in Gonzales, Texas. At the age of 19, he married his beloved wife, Angelita. In 1965, they moved to Ft. Worth, Texas where he retired from Miller Brewery in 2006. He always had a dream, since he was a young boy, from shining shoes downtown Gonzales to one day opening up his own restaurant where he made his famous brisket sausage. That dream came true with the help of his sons Danny and David Longoria. Longoria’s BBQ has now been open since September of 1997. The family will continue to live on his dream.

He is preceded in death by his parents Manuel and Aurora Longoria, brother Federico Longoria, daughter Dianna Longoria and granddaughter Aurora Longoria.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Angelita. His sons Daniel, David and daughter Dolores and husband Robert Michael Martinez. His grandchildren Coty Longoria, Vanessa Overstreet, Victoria Alvarez, Serena Alvarez, Jayden Martinez and Angel Longoria. He is also survived by two brothers Fidel and Felipe Longoria and two sisters Frances Vasquez and Florence Corbin.

He will definitely be missed, but one day we will all reunite with him in heaven.
