Service: 3 p.m. Sunday in Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel. Interment: 2:30 p.m., Wednesday at Marietta National Cemetery in Georgia, with visitation 2 hours prior at Georgia Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 2000 Cobb Pkwy S.E. Marietta, 30060. Visitation: The family will receive friends 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Jay retired from the Air Force after 22 years of service and the Federal Aviation Administration with 15 years of service. He had a passion for golf, crossword puzzles and working in the yard. Above all that, he loved his family.
Jay was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors: Wife, Paulette Jackson; sons, Daniel Jackson and Curtis Jackson and wife, Kimberly; daughters, Johnna Gray and husband, Tracy, and Angela Morin and husband, David; brother, Doyle Jackson; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family.
