Forrace and Vivian continued to love and support their children and grandchildren in life’s various trials and tribulations, accomplishments and celebrations. They both loved, were proud of and supported their children, but as Forrace (Popsey) often said, "I go hard for my grandkids". Example; Gifting a cherished Mickey Mouse watch to DeJuan and having him spend a memorable summer in Oklahoma City along with Asonye and Lil Mike (Great Godson), allowing his grandson Asonye to move in with him in his Lake Como home to prepare and study for his bar exam (One and done), traveling with the family to Gainesville, FL for granddaughter Anayo's college graduation and later having quality time visits with youngest granddaughter Chisa, as he was in his final chapter of life. He loved his kids and adored his grandkids!
Forrace (Dad aka Popsey) agreed to temporarily move in with the family in Garland, TX March 2026 after his diagnosis and he was loved and cared for by the family the last six months of his life. He and his wife Vivian even though separated, remained legally married and resided under the same roof at his end just as in their beginning, this was definitely an example of life going full circle.
Forrace went home to Glory on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at the family's home in Garland, TX as he requested and he was surrounded by love and beautiful spoken affirmations as he transitioned naturally and peacefully.
