Frances Blackwell Wilson was an amazing woman. She was born in Haskell County in 1925. She loved to share stories of the 1940s, when she met Charlie Wilson on Dec. 8, 1941, the day after Pearl Harbor. Frances was blessed to be able to enjoy many hobbies, such as reading, bowling, traveling and painting. She also cherished the friendships of her Beta Sigma Phi sorority sisters.
There is no way to share the treasure of a woman's life in just a few words. She was a woman of integrity, honor, strength, determination and loyalty.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wilson; son, Michael Wilson; and grandson, Phillip Chandler.
Survivors: She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Rebecca Litsey and her husband, Dan; grandchildren, Cheri Waddle and husband, Larry, Chuck Wilson and his mother, Suzanne Wilson-Wuest, and Nathan Chandler and wife, Lauren; great-granddaughters, Kristen, Rylie and Brooklyn; great-great-grandson, Aiden; sister, Ruth Thompson; and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and many friends she treasured dearly.
Arrangements under the direction of Shannon Rufe Snow Drive Funeral Chapel, Fort Worth, TX.
