

Service: 12:30pm, Thursday, December 28th in the Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes. Visitation: 6pm – 8pm Wednesday, December 27th at Laurel Land. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Ft Worth.
Frank was born in Wilmont, NH, on September 15, 1932, to Earl Remington and Martha Philbrick. He married the love of his life Louise A. Putney on November 30, 1957.He was a devoted father of 5 and dedicated 23.5 years to the United States Air Force. After retiring from the Air Force he went on to complete his college education where he became a teacher. He taught math and earth science for 20+ years in Bath, ME. Frank was an avid golfer and a professional bowler who was inducted into the Bowler’s Hall of Fame 3 times. He was an incredible handy-man that enjoyed woodworking and working on cars.
He had a soft heart for animals and has left behind his beloved dog Brownie and cat Callie. Brownie was the “Man’s Best Friend” to Frank even more than ever post the passing of his wife Louise in 2013.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his two sisters, and three brothers, his soul mate and wife, Louise, and his grandson Garrett Remington, dog Happy Jo, and cat Suzy Belle.
Survivors: children, Amanda Combs and husband Benjamin Combs, Laura Gilchrist, Frank Remington Jr., Roxana Hodges and husband Michael, and Roderick Remington; grandchildren, Douglas Wooden Jr. and wife Nikki, Andrea Wooden and dog Bebe, Amy Remington, Meagan Gilchrist, Jackie Hodges, Tracy Hodges, Lindsay Hodges, and Heidi Hodges; step grandchildren, Jason Combs and wife Heather; great-grandchildren, Kinley Combs, Jett Combs, Brayden Wooden, Zoey Wooden, Aspen Robles; and several nieces and nephews.
