"2 Timothy 4:7-8 (KJV) I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing."

A Man of Faith
Frank accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev.Tom Jennings at Mansfield Avenue Baptist Church. Frank grew greatly in his Christian walk under the leadership of the late Rev. A.V. Fisher at Salem Missionary Baptist Church where his father served as the Associate Pastor for over 17 years.
While serving at Salem, Frank met and married the love of his Life Ava, on May 22, 1987. His love for Ava was obvious and they were truly a beautiful couple watched by many. To this union Brittany Mee'Chel was born. They were blessed to love one another for 33 years. Frank cherished all of his family and did whatever it took to spend time with them and create beautiful memories they will never forget.
A Man of Vision and Strength
After his brother, Apostle Michael Stevenson, accepted his call to Pastor Greenway Baptist Church, Pastor Fisher encouraged Frank to take his family and support his brother. Frank followed this advice and became a great aid to his brother’s ministry.
He dedicated his time and service to the growth and evolution of The Greenway Church. He served faithfully and tirelessly until his health started to decline. Frank was ordained as a deacon under Apostle Michael Stevenson's leadership, he worked with the finance committee and took joy in overseeing the groundbreaking and building of the edifice that stands today as a tribute to God’s faithfulness and service to the community.
Through every challenge in life, Frank maintained his faith and his smile. He stood as a beacon of light for others to follow.
A Man with a Great Work Ethic
An awesome provider for his family, Frank worked for many companies throughout his lifetime such as Misko Factory and Lone Star Gas (Atmos Energy). He retired as a Flight Ops Coordinator when he retired after over 20 years at FedEx in Alliance in June 2019. In his early years Frank enjoyed painting and taking on remodeling projects at his home. His sister in law Michelle affectionately called him "Tim the tool man".
Those who knew Frank knew that he was an avid Cowboys fan win or lose. He loved watching basketball, hanging with family and friends, travel, but Frank had no greater joy than being called PAWPAW.
