

A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Anglican Church in Fort Worth with Fr. Richard Moseley celebrating. Reception following.
Fred was born in Harrison, Ohio to Carl and Ruth Bader. He was a loving brother and brother-in-law to Arthur and Sandy Bader.
He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He held a bachelor’s degree from Indiana Tech in Aeronautical Engineer. After graduation, he moved to San Diego, CA and started his career at Convair. He was transferred to General Dynamics in Fort Worth, TX, where he finished out the remainder of his career. Fred was an avid crossword puzzler. You could find him most mornings drinking coffee and working his crossword puzzles. He was a member of the Lockheed Martin Retirement Association and an active member of St. John’s Anglican Church. His family and friends knew him as a very kind, compassionate and giving person.
Fred is sadly missed by his three children, Brian Bader, Kimberly Bader, and Paige Taft as well as Bobby Taft, his son-in-law. He was a beloved Papa to seven grandchildren, Brad Bader, Alexis Bader, Noewell Taft, Jerry Taft, Addyson Taft, Solara Taft, and Orion Taft and great-grandfather to Maddox Taft, Freya Mullins, and Jaylee Bader.
The family request that memorials be given to St. John’s Anglican Church, Fort Worth in lieu of flowers or plants.
