She was born April 3, 1922, in Granbury to Walter L. and Virgie Wentworth. She married Mr. L.D. "Sam" Prunty on Nov. 9, 1943.
She was predeceased by her parents; loving husband; son, Charles Prunty; daughters, Evelyn Schoonover and Mildred Artmire; brothers, Otto Wentworth and Charles Wentworth; grandchildren, Patricia Briggs, Mike Kramer, Carol Carr, Tommy Traylor and Ronnie Paul Linville.
Survivors: Daughters, Pat Kramer and husband, Frank "Doc," of Hurst and June Carrol and husband, Wayne, of Fort Worth; sons, Kenneth Prunty and wife, Mary, of Mansfield, James Prunty and wife, Diane, of Burleson, Joe Prunty and wife, Kathy, of Watauga, Fred Prunty and wife, Linda, of Midland and David Prunty of Watauga; a continuing legacy of loving granchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Virginia Chapin of Minneapolis, Minn., and Lucille DenBleyker of Crowley.
