Mr. Gary Lynn Stevenson

Gary Lynn Stevenson was born on March 21, 1951, in Fort Worth, Texas, to the parentage of the late Mr. Penman Stevenson and Mrs. Edna Turner Stevenson.

Gary was raised in Fort Worth, Texas, where he attended I.M. Terrell High School and graduated with the Class of 1969.

He later married Linda Carol Thomas, and together they were blessed with three children: Eric, Christopher, and Jamarr and two grandchildren, Landri and Eric Jr.

Gary dedicated many years of service to Alcon Laboratories, where he worked as a Materials Handler.

A man of faith, Gary was an active member of Berea Baptist Church, where he faithfully served as a deacon. His commitment to God and his church family reflected the values by which he lived.

On Tuesday morning, June 23, 2026, Gary peacefully departed this life to be with his Heavenly Father. He was preceded in death by his father, Penman Stevenson; his mother, Edna Turner Stevenson; his son, Jamarr Stevenson; and his grandson, Jhobey Landry.

Gary leaves to cherish his precious memory his loving and devoted wife, Linda; his children, Eric Stevenson (Eric Stevenson Jr.), Christopher Stevenson (Landri Stevenson), Jamarr Stevenson, Laquita Davis, Gary King, and Darwin King and a host of grandchildren; his sister, Kathy R. Nolan (Jerome); along with a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and dear friends.

Though he is no longer with us in body, Gary's love, faith, and legacy will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
