With shattered hearts and unimaginable sorrow, we announce the passing of Gavin Tate Gladish our beloved husband, father, son, brother, and a true friend to all who knew him. Gavin was tragically taken from this world far too soon on September 26, 2025 at the young age of 24.
Gavin was born to Amanda Gladish on October 19, 2000, in Midland, Texas. Gavin asked Eric to be his father, and on April 1, 2011, their adoption was finalized, because they chose each other.
Gavin genuinely lived with a passion, drive, and spirit that inspired all who knew him. He was a guiding light for his younger brother, Zayde, especially through their gymnastics training, where his encouragement and example left a lasting mark. In his professional life, Gavin found true purpose as a roofing sales contractor, mentored by Jonathan
Duncanson and supported by his work family at J Duncanson Roofing. He loved his career, taking pride in helping others, and his hard work, determination, and kindness earned the admiration of both colleagues and customers alike.
Above all else, Gavin’s greatest joy was being a father to his two young sons, Axel (age 4) and Aiden (age 2). He adored them beyond words, and his love for them was evident in every moment he spent with them. They were his proudest accomplishment and the very center of his world.
Gavin is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Kalyn; his beloved sons, Axel and Aiden; his parents, Amanda and Eric Gladish; and his brothers, Keagan and Zayde Gladish. He is also so loved and survived by Kalyn’s mother, Lindsay Rogers; brothers, Clayton O’Connor and Clinton Lee; sister, Camden Lee; Grandparents Denny and Debbie, along with extended family and countless friends who loved him dearly.
Though his time here was far too short, Gavin leaves behind a legacy of perseverance, devotion, and love. His children will grow up knowing the strength of their father’s heart, his brother will carry forward the guidance he so generously gave, and his family will forever feel the imprint of his spirit
A celebration of Gavin’s life will be held on October 11, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 7100 Crowley Rd., Fort Worth, TX 76134. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor a life lived with honor, love, purpose, strength, courage, and acceptance.
Rest peacefully, Gavin. Your love, your laughter, and your light will never fade.
