George Ealy fell asleep in the arms of Jesus on Friday, Jan. 8, 2016. Celebration of life: Noon Friday, Jan. 15, in the Pauline Minor Chapel of Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors. Interment: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: noon to 8 p.m. Thursday, with the family present 7 to 8 p.m. Survivors: Left with precious memories are his loving and devoted wife, Fannie Ealy; children, Milton Ealy (Denise), Patricia Thompson (Dexter) and Karen Bell; brother, Sammie Ealy (Norita); sisters, Clarisa Ealy and Tonda Brown; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
