George Crawford Eddleman

Graveside services will be at 11am, Friday, May 20, 2016 in the Veterans Memorial Gardens at Laurel Land Cemetery, 7100 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth. Visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, May 19, 2016 in the Laurel Land Funeral Home.

SSGT Eddleman was born October 13, 1919, the son of Walter and Abbie Eddleman, George was born along the bank of the mighty Mississippi River in Mississippi County, Missouri. He provided over 23 years of military service to his country; 3 years in the US Army near the end of WW2 in France and over 20 years in the US Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, his eldest son, George “Butch” Eddleman, granddaughter, Nicole Cochran and great grandchildren, Walter R. Eddleman Jr. and Caleb Cochran.

Left to cherish his memory: daughter, Gale Tankersley of McPherson, KS; sons, Dallas Cochran and wife, Melanye of Weatherford; Walter Eddleman and wife, Shell of Ft Worth; Riley Eddleman and wife, Priscella of Azle; David Eddleman of Waco, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
