James Jr. (Khiana), Jacquelyn Flowers, Darwin Allsup (Kerrie) and Jerrye Homer (James); brothers, Hosea Jones Jr. (Beverly), Edward L. Jones (Jackie) and Jimmie H. Jones; sisters, Pearlie M. Jones, Linda A. Veal (Eddie), Barbara N. Jones, Madlyn C. Jones; 10 grandchildren; Brandon, Allante, LaQuinta, Shamika, Jamesha, George III, Geonetta, Kyamber, Bictoria and Christopher; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. George was employed with Loomis Fargo & Company for 30 years and he proudly served for 15 years in the Texas Reserve State Guard in which he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and held that post until 2000,
