Our Beloved Gerald William Ewing

Gerald William Ewing was welcomed into this world on December 5, 1959, in Fort Worth, Texas, by his loving parents, Dorothy and Billy J. Ewing.

Gerald was educated by the Fort Worth Independent School District, while attending Carroll M. Peak Elementary, Morningside Junior High, and a 1977 Graduate of Oscar Dean Wyatt High School. He furthered his education by attending Texas Southern University as well as Prairie View A&M University.

Gerald married the love of his life and made her Mrs. Nancy Sue Ewing on November 22, 1999. He was a very loyal and faithful member at St. Andrews U.M.C., where he was baptized as a child. He served as a Steward, Pastor Parrish Relations Committee Chairperson, United Methodist Men, East District Delegate for the United Methodist Church Annual Conference, Lay Servant, and on the Usher Board #4. He Loved his family, church family, friends, music and his brothers of The Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship, Inc.

Our Beloved Gerald, heard the Master's Call and departed this life for his Eternal Reward on November 3, 2020, just following a short illness. Upon his arrival he was greeted by his father who preceded him in death, Mr. Billy J. Ewing.

Gerald will forever be in the hearts of his wife, Nancy S. Ewing; his mother, Dorothy J. Ewing; his sister, Dana Ann Ewing; his daughter, Lauren T. Ewing; sons, Jourdan T. Ewing, Adrian T. Ewing, William C. Hawkins (Tyneshia), and Steven A. Williams; his grandchildren, Lyndon Ewing, Janaya Ewing, Asher Ewing, Tre'vione Hawkins, Treniti Hawkins, Kaleb Hickman, Paige Green, and LaMaya Williams; nephews, Caylan Ewing and Tyler Hornbuckle; aunts and uncle, Linda Anderson, Johnnye Anderson and Gerrod Anderson; and a host of other family and very dear friends.
