My mother was a powerful prayer. When she prayed things in the earthly realm shifted and changed; causing them to line up with heaven. She taught me how to watch and pray. She worked very hard to provide for her children and grandchildren. She prayed for them all fervently. She not only prayed for her children but, prayed for all the children in her sphere of influence and community. This was her earthly mission to make sure  that we all were  covered with the love of GOD through prayer.  May the candle of the LORD  and the spirit of prayer burn on forever in the lives of Gertie's children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Truly, she will be missed by all.
