Glevis Doy Egger II, 77, of Arlington, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025. Known simply as “Glevis” to those closest to him, he will be remembered for his honesty, loyalty, and steadfast devotion to his wife, Fay Calvery, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and companionship.
Born on December 15, 1947, in Fort Worth, Texas, Glevis was the son of the late Glevis Doy Egger and grew up with his beloved sister Anita Egger Hunter and Joana Egger Ward. After graduating from Mansfield High School, he went on to achieve great success as President of Diamond E Industries, where his brilliance in engineering and fabrication left a lasting legacy of innovation and integrity.
A man of many interests, Glevis found joy in travel, collecting, music, and exploring the stars as an amateur astronomer. He was a true technophile, always curious about how things worked, yet grounded enough to find peace in simple pleasures like bird watching and time spent at home.
Those who knew Glevis will remember him as a gentle, intelligent man whose word was his bond. His love for life, family, and knowledge will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
