Gloria Ethelda Roberson

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gloria Ethelda Roberson, who left us on Thursday, June 25th, 2026 at the age of 84. She was a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Born on August 31st 1941 in Gary, Texas, Gloria Ethelda Roberson was the child of Dennis and Ella McClure. Throughout her life, Gloria Ethelda Roberson will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, and the heart of her family. She had a deep love for animals and cherished many dogs she cared for throughout the years. Professionally, Gloria worked as a dedicated bookkeeper for several companies and spent many years as a respected club manager throughout the Fort Worth area. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love for her family and friends will be remembered by all who knew her.

Gloria Ethelda Roberson is survived with deep sorrow by her sons Ronny Boyd, Terry Roberson, Jerry Roberson, sister Mary Uhlhorn, sister-in-law Linda McClure, as well as many grandkids, great-grandkids, and many more family and friends.

Gloria was preceded in death by her mother and father Dennis and Ella McClure, husband James Roberson, son John Boyd, sisters Odessa Cook, Marie Prince, and brother Verdel McClure.

The family invites relatives and friends to a celebration of Gloria’s life on July 15th 2026 at 11am-12pm, to be held at Laurel Land 7100 Crowley Rd Fort Worth, TX 76134, followed by graveside service at 2pm at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy Dallas, TX 75211.

The family deeply appreciates the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Gloria’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
