Harold George Gerhardt, Jr, age 77, born December 6, 1940 in New Orleans, LA, and passed away on April 29, 2018 in Watauga, TX. Born to Harold George Gerhardt, Sr. and Dorothy Delaney. Hal was retired from Laborers International Union, served as Mayor Pro-tem in Watauga and was a Watauga City Councilman. He was an active member and past Master of Haltom City - Riverside Masonic Lodge and was a Past Worthy Patron and member of the Eastern Star. He volunteered with the Flying Fez with the Shriners, US Coast Guard Auxiliary, with the courts for the City of Watauga and the Citizens patrol. He had a strong love for Harleys, guns, and horses and of American muscle cars. He was an officer in the Texas State Guard and proudly served his country in US Air Force.

Survived by wife of 21 years, Patricia Gerhardt, children, Steve Morris and wife Panadda, Kenny Morris and partner Jacob Laney, Eric Gerhardt and wife Tracy, Sharon Miller and husband Brad, Derrick Mitchell, Brian Mitchell, John Costanza and wife Sonya, Pattie Guidry and husband Maurice, Angela Wallace and husband Charles; twelve grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sisters, Cynthia Craft and Lisa Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, close friends and his beloved pets. Preceded in death by son, Troy Costanza.

He was a man who possessed a love of God, family, country and his community. He will be greatly missed and loved by all who were blessed by being able to know him.

Family will receive friends for a visitation from 6 pm to 8 pm, Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Shannon Rufe Snow Chapel, 6001 Rufe Snow Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76148. Funeral Service to follow at 8 pm at Shannon Rufe Snow.

Final Resting Place will be at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
