Harold Linsey Lugrand, Jr., affectionately known by many as "Mann", was born on March 21, 1980, in Wichita, Kansas to Harold Lindsey Lugrand, Sr. and Shirley Yvonne Lugrand. From the very beginning, Mann brought a light into the world that would continue to shine in the lives of everyone he encountered.
He was known for his quiet strength, warm smile, and the unconditional love he gave to his family and friends. As a child growing up in Wichita, Mann was curious, kindhearted and always looking for those around him. He shared a special bond with his parents and his sister, Geneva Nicole Lugrand, who preceded him in death in 2005. Her memory remained closed to his heart throughout his life and we take comfort in knowing they are now reunited in eternal peace. Later in life, Mann moved to Arlington, Texas where he established a home and began a new chapter. he found steady employment at Safety Seal in Hurst, Texas, where he was a dependable and valued employee. His coworkers knew him as someone who was not only hard-working but also respectful and good-natured someone who could be counted on to get the job done with integrity. While work was important to him, Mann's greatest joy came from the love of his family. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Felisha Shante Lugrand, whose partnership and love grounded him. Together, they built a life centered on faith, unity and love. He was a proud and deeply loving father to his two sons, Nathaniel Devon Lugrand and Xavier Demarcus Lugrand. To them he was not only a dad but a role model, protector and guiding light. He also had a close and special bond with his nephew, Tavyon Xavier Lugrand, whom he loved and cared for as his own.
On Thursday, October 2, 2025, the Lord in his infinite wisdom and mercy sent his angels to bring Harold home to him. Though his departure was sudden and deeply felt, we rest in the promise that he is now in a place of eternal peace, free from pain and surrounded by the love of those who have gone before him. Harold will be remembered for his deep sense of loyalty, his gentle spirit and the quiet way he made a lasting impact on those around him. Whether through a warm hug, a shared laugh, or a simple act of kindness, Mann made others feel seen and loved. His presence was a blessing, and his absence leaves a void that cannot be filled. Though he is no longer with us in body, his memory will continue to live on through the lives of those who knew and loved him. His legacy is not only in the family he raised and cherished but also in the values he lived by, strength, compassion, humility and unwavering love.
He is survived by his loving wife, Felisha, sons, Nathaniel and Xavier, his nephew, Tavyon; his parents, Harold, Sr. and Shirley Lugrand; and a host of extended family, friends and loved ones who will forever carry is memory in their hearts.
Rest in peace, Mann. You were truly one of a kind, and your light will never be forgotten.
