Harrel Manuel Shipman, age 78, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Harrel was born April 10, 1936 in Buffalo Gap, Texas to Christopher and Vera Shipman. He is preceded in death by sisters, Audrey Hefley and Wanda Jones and brother, Curtis Shipman. Harrel is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Judith Helen Shipman; daughters, Kathy Dagnell and husband, Stephen from Godley and Connie Shipman of Burleson; grandchildren, Audrey Dagnell of Godley, Christopher Alexander of Burleson, Kevin Alexander of Burleson and Kamryn Griffin of Dallas; siblings, Kenneth Shipman of Odessa, Ogle Shipman of Gardendale, Shirley Acton of Clyde, Reta Russell of Springtown, Charlotte Balding of Mineral Wells and Sandy Ford of Gordon; many nieces, nephews and loving family and friends. Service: 3:00 p.m. Monday at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Laurel Land Funeral Home.
