Service: 10am Wednesday March 21, 2018 at Hallmark Baptist Church of Fort Worth. Visitation to be held an hour prior starting at 9am. Interment: DFW National Cemetery.
Harry passed away on March 16,2018 Served in the USAF for 4 years based in Fort Worth. He was an A&E jet engine mechanic and worked on B36’s. He was on the first H-Bomb mission, project operation Ivy in November of 1952 to Marshall Islands during the Korean war. He retired from Bell helicopter in 1992 after 30 years serving as a senior flight mechanic where he was known as “Moon Mullins”. He was known for his joking personality.
Preceded in death by his wife Mary Hix Mullins and daughter Diane Leslie Mullins. Survivors: Brother, Kenneth Mullins of Charleston, West Virginia. 2 children, Mark Mullins, Cynthia Green and spouse Don of Fort Worth. Step children: Rob Mitcham, Marc Mitcham, Lyndell Hix, Colleen Martin and spouses. Grand daughter Jennifer Holton Thompson and spouse Tim. Great-grand daughter Abbigale Holton. Many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. He accepted the Lord on May 10, 1998 and was a member of Hallmark Baptist Church.
