Helen Johnson, a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at Christ Cathedral, 3200 Purrington Drive, Dr. Sherman Allen, gracious host, Pastor Gary Johnson, eulogist. Interment: Skyvue Memorial Gardens. Visitation: Mrs. Johnson will lie in sweet slumber from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors. Left in the hands of the Almighty are her children, Pastor Gary E. Johnson (Dinenelle), Marion Johnson and Charletha Johnson; brothers, Willie Jackson, Roger Jackson and Louis Jackson III; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; special friend, Evang. Mae Miller; the Greater Harvest Church family; and a host of other relatives and friends.
