Helen was born in Colorado City to the late James P. and Emery Dulin Nunn. She married Malcolm Mayes (deceased) and they spent most of their married lives in Fort Worth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse; brothers and sisters, Josephine Nelson, Jetty Nunn, Thomas Nunn and John W. Nunn Sr.; and nephew, Mark Nunn.
She shared many happy times with family and lifelong friends, Melba Gotcher, Betty Miller, Audrey Mosely and Nina Farris. Survivors: Nieces, Nancy Fouga and daughter, Madison, Pam Carter and spouse, David, Dr. Lisa Nelson, Susan Nunn; nephews, John Nunn Jr., Sandy Nunn, Rusty Nunn, Dr. Brad Nelson, Dr. Ronnie Nelson and numerous other Nunn and Dulin family descendants; dear friends, Scott and Ashley Griffin and Cheryl Coffey.
