Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Wed. Sept. 12, 2012. She was born Nov. 14, 1926 in Colorado City, TX to Riely Loyd and Dona Lee Williams. Helen graduated from Azle High School in 1943 then worked at Armour Meat where she met her husband John after WWII. She loved traveling with John, their worldwide travels and adventures are too numerous to mention all. She was an avid walker on the Eastside, active with the YMCA and an animal lover. She was a faithful contributor to the SPCA and a member of the Meadowbrook Garden Club. Helen was a member of Handley-Meadowbrook Christian Church and a charter member of Trinity Christian Church. She loved her church family, her children and especially her grandkids and great-grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents Loyd and Dona; her husband John; sister Margie and brothers Pete and Gordon.
Survivors: Sons: John Robert and wife Yvonne, Mark Charles and wife Wendy; grandchildren: John, Ronald and Bobbie; as well as nine great-grandchildren.
