

Helen Catherine Holmes Snedeker passed away on April 14, 2020. She was born on March 1, 1931 in Fort Worth, Texas to Randol O. and Camilla Jones. Helen graduated from Paschal High School in 1948.She retired from Central Freight Lines in 1997 after 48 years of service.
Helen was active for over 30 years in dog training, instructing and competing. She was an AKC obedience judge. During her lifetime, she was associated with various organizations such as Texas Tri-Cities Obedience Club, Fort Worth Kennel Club, NARC&SP, Mansfield Trailblazers, Texas Ranger Belles, and Southwest Team Penning Assn.
In 1993, Helen married Rufus “Tex” Snedeker and they had 18 wonderful years together until his death in 2011.
Preceded in death by husband Bonnie Neal Holmes and Rufus Harrison Snedeker; step-son Randol Snedeker, parents; and sister Mary Kuykendall.
Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter Cathy Packwood (life partner Bob Snider); stepchildren Judy Snedeker, Marge Studebaker, and Sharon Kennedy (husband Ken); grandchildren Tiffany Wooldridge, Brittany Leonard (husband Jared), Amanda Reeves (husband Ryan), and Monte Kennedy; great-grandchildren Jax and Kori; niece Carol Anne Spencer (husband Bill); close family friend Byron Rose; Central Family; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
