Helen Ruth Wasik, 90, passed January 14, 2014 at Community Hospice Hughley. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and served as secretary to the colonel of the Quartermaster Depot in Fort Worth during World War II. Helen resided at Covenant Place in Burleson and was a member of Burleson Boulevard Baptist Church. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Wasik; her father and mother, Nelson and Lucile Bean; grandmother, Lucile Platt; and brother, Nelson H. Bean Jr.
Survivors: Sons, Michael Wasik (Carol) of Burleson and Randy Wasik (Barbara) of Webster; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three nieces.
