Henry J. Jeffries

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 30th from 3:00-5:00pm at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel, 6001 Shannon Rufe Snow Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76148. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, October 31st at 10:30am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Inurnment to take place on Tuesday, November 8th at 3:15pm at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211.

Henry was born to John and Ann Jeffries on August 2, 1946 in Bronx, New York where he also attended school. He married Ruth Ann McDonald on September 20, 1969 in Hollis, New York. Henry graduated from Nassau Community College and went on to work as the crew chief for American Airlines. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the United States Army from February 1971 to February 1973.

Later in life, Henry served on the Parks and Recreation Board in Watauga with Friends of the Library. He also served on the Watauga City County and was Mayor from 2002 to 2012.

Henry is preceded in death by his mother, his father, and his brother, Vincent.

Henry is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ruth Ann Jeffries; his son: John Jeffries (and spouse, Gina); his daughters: Rebecca Jeffries and Michelle Boyett (and husband, Albert); his brothers: Stephan Jeffries (and wife, Mary Ann), Walter Jeffries, and Michael Jeffries (and wife, Diana); and grandsons: Joshua Steinhauer, Justin Jeffries (and wife, Dakota), and Jarod April.
