Hershel Lloyd "Corky" Snow
June 2, 1937 – March 10, 2018
Hershel Lloyd " Corky" Snow passed away on Saturday, March 10 after a long battle with illness. Service: 1 pm Friday March 16, 2018 at Shady Oaks Baptist Church in Hurst Tx. This Cowboy will be remembered as a loving husband, dad, Papaw, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend who always had his boots, hat, and pearl snap shirt. He always topped it off with a big smile and of course, a joke to make you laugh. He will be deeply missed by all. Corky is preceded in death by his parents, C.A. and Thelma Snow; and sons, Johnny Carl Snow, and Jeremy Craig Sisk. He is survived by a host of Family members, wife , Lonna Watters Snow; daughters, Shelly Snow Davidson and Kirk, Tammy Snow Davis and Larry; brother, H.D Snow and wife Carleen; sister, Judy Snow Allgood; sons, Bryan Sisk and wife Trina, Andy Sisk and wife Cassy, and daughter in law, Seiley Sisk; seventeen grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Well, I grew up with Corky in High School. Weatherford High School and maybe even before. He was always so cheerful and happy and a real joy to be around. I will always remember him. I will never forget him. God bless him and all his family too. No, we were not close, close buddies but we knew each other pretty well in school and school activities. Corky was a prize then and a prize today and he always will be "Dear God, Dear God! thank you for Corky Snow. Thank you dear God. He was a treasure in my life and he always will be. Lord, bless his Family and Loved Ones. Bless them all today and every day. And God, help us all ~ help us all to remember and treasure his Friendship as we did so many years ago and we do today and tomorrow. Bless him always, dear God. Thank you for him always! Amen."
