Hildred Norman, age 78, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on Tuesday December 31, 2019. Hildred was born August 24, 1941 in Hermon, Texas Claude Buffington and Thelma Joe Scott Buffington welcomed the arrival of a bouncing baby girl. They named their bundle of joy Heldred Buffington. The family relocated to Honey Grove , Texas where Hildred attended school. The family then moved to Fort Worth where Hildred met and married Mr. Freddie Norman. Mrs. Norman, worked as a short order cook at Fort Worth's popular eatery "Good Lucks" Where she later became the assist manager. She is chicfly remembered for maing the best Hamburgers in town. People came far and near for the experience. Mrs. Norman worked many years at Medical Plaza in housekeeping. Where she retired and became a full time homemaker. Mrs. Norman loved to cook and bake. She jarred her very own fresh preserves for her family. She loved arts and crafts. She enjoyed sewing and quilting. Mrs. Norman liked designing beautiful things. She had impeccable taste. An eye for quality. She was an antique connoisseur. One of her greatest joys was attending the antique road show, she was always exited to show off her Collections. Mrs. Norman heard and answered the call of our Lord on Tuesday, December 31, 219 at the precious age of 78. She now rest in the arms of God. We shall miss her until that great getting up morning.
Mrs. Norman is preceded in death by her husband Deacon Freddie Norman. Those left to cherish her precious memories are; her brother Roy Lee Buffington (Ruth); children, Gwendolyn Buffington, Renick Mayes (Evangelist Elaine), Pastor Dorothea Adams, Kim Eddine (Tarck), Kay Dawn and Freddie Norman (Carla); 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
