Memorial service: 3 p.m. Thursday in Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes. Visitation: at 2 p.m.
Irene was born in Fort Worth to Hugh and Sarah Lee Bunton. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her family. She especially enjoyed spending the holidays with family and friends.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Donald Leroy Jenkins; her second husband, William Byron Sweely; and sisters, Virginia Ashcraft and Vivian McCleskey.
Survivors: Son, Don Jenkins-Terrill and his husband, John Jenkins-Terrill, of Dallas; daughter, Diane Myrick of Watauga; granddaughter, Megan Myrick of Fort Worth; great-grandson, Devin Teague of Fort Worth; and many other family members and friends.
