Refugio was a happily married man to Francisca Gonzalez for over 60 years. Together that had 14 children. He was a faithful member of Holy Name Catholic Church. Refugio loved music, animals including watching all the animal shows, and playing games with his family such as dominos, poker, and cards. Above all, he loved most was being with his family. He was a happy and funny man who will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
He is preceded in death by his children Rita and Cucu Gonzalez.
Those left to cherish his memories are his spouse Francisca Gonzalez; children Lorenso, Maria Lilia, Salomon, Maria B, Guadalupe, Jose Antonio, Jose Manuel, Rutilio, Federico, Elvira, Celene Esmeralda, and Martha; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
