Our mother, Ellen, would later marry Dr. Monroe Drury Fredeking who would adopt the Kelly bothers. I was young when our mom remarried therefore Dad Fredeking was the only father I ever knew. I loved him dearly. Dad Fredeking and Ellen aka “Mike” later had another son, Stephen aka Tiger.
Several years ago, while on Ancestry we discovered that my birth father had remarried. They had 3 boys and 1 girl giving Terry and myself more siblings. We have met and remain close to this day.
I was told I was a good baby. My mom said she could sit me in the corner and I would quietly play with my toys for hours.
I was excellent in sports. I played baseball in little league and pony league. I hit back-to-back Grand Slam Home Runs in which the batter won the game in the bottom of the 9th inning by 1 point. Every boy’s dream. I was one big “goose bump” while running the bases.
In early childhood I was inspired by the Beatles. I became a professional musician. I played lead guitar and sang. I had a long and successful career on a local level for 30 years and traveled to surrounding states (OK, AR, & LA).
I was very proud of my family, especially my brothers, who have always been there for me. My proudest moment was marriage to Stephanie. The greatest, sweetest, most beautiful person in my life, my love of my life and my best friend.
My proudest career accomplishments were having music fans tell me about “goose bumps” from our music (Hi Roller band) in the later years of my music career. I’m also proud of being successful at the medical tech business.
I left this Earth with my wife, Stephanie, by my side. We will be together, “Forever and ever”.
My survivors include:
My wife, Stephanie Fredeking and special mention to my cat “FurrB” who never left my side.
My brother, Terry Fredeking and Judi King, his wife.
The Kelly brothers, Pat and Laurie, Shane and Mindy, and Tim and Scottie, and sister, Star Kelly.
