Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Too young to join the Army, Jack worked for the Civil Service for over a year in England wiring bombers for the RAF. He then joined the U.S. Marine Corps.
As a Marine Jack saw action on Okinawa and the Ryukyu Islands. He also took part in the occupation of China in 1946 and participated in the ceremony at the surrender of the Japanese military forces.
He was a 50-year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, and a local electrician. Jack was a longtime member of North Fort Worth Baptist Church, a devoted Christian and a longtime Mason.
Survivors: Son, Alan Kline; daughter, Kris McDougal; grandsons, Aaron and Luke McDougal; granddaughter, Meagan Teal; great-grandsons, Landry and Findley Teal; and close friend, Nancy Lawrence.
