Jack Sanders

Jack Sanders, age 84, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on Sunday April 19, 2020. Jack was born August 27, 1935 To the Parents of Larry Sanders and Emma Gaskins Sanders of Thomasville, Georgia. Jack served in the United States Air Force for 20 years. He was an Air Craft Mechanic and later cross trained to Flight Scheduler. He achieved the rank of Tech Sergeant before he retired at Dyess Sir Force Base in Abilene, Texas. Jack relocated to Fort Worth, Texas where he worked at Panther Distributing. He worked a short time for the U.S. Postal Service. He also attended Tarrant County Junior College.

Jack married Katherine Long of Decatur, Alabama on September 19, 1956 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. To this union they had 3 daughters, and 1 son, Sandra, Wanda, George, and Andrea. They continued their friendship and union for 63 years.

He accepted his Savior at a young age. He attended Christland Missionary Baptist Church until he became ill.

Jack leaves behind to grieve, his wife, Katherine Sanders; daughters, Sandra Irving (Reliford), Wanda Williams (Larry), Andrea Sanders and son, George Sanders; 5 grandchildren, Reuben Sanders (Latasha), Ashley Irving, Marcus Sanders, Sharday Owens, Geornay Sanders, Cortney Sanders, 5 great grand children, Cameron, Keyarra, Kyah, Jalah and Joshua and a great-great grand son, Grayson Sanders; sister Alice M. Jones and a host of other relatives and friends.
