Jacki Sharon Thompson

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jacki Sharon Thompson on August 13, 2025, at the age of 64. Jacki was born on March 4, 1961, in Pikeville, Kentucky, and spent her life surrounded by the love of her family and her passion for reading.

Jacki is survived by her devoted husband, Damon Thompson; her daughter, Carla Thompson (and wife Jessica Thompson); and three cherished grandchildren, Nicole, Kane, and Ava. She is also survived by her son, Thomas Thompson (and wife Celeste Thompson), and granddaughter, Riley. Jacki was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend to many, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Jacki's greatest joy was her family. She poured love into those closest to her, always putting their needs above her own. She had a special way of making everyone feel valued and loved, and her family was the center of her world.

A lifelong lover of books, Jacki was an avid reader, often escaping into the world of science fiction. She enjoyed exploring new stories and ideas, with an endless curiosity that extended beyond the pages of her books. Her love for all things sci-fi was only rivaled by her love for her family and the time she spent with them. She also loved to cook and bake anything and everything for everyone.

Jacki’s passing leaves a hole in the hearts of all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the lives of her loved ones and the countless moments of joy she shared. She will be remembered for her kindness, her loyalty, and her unwavering love for her family.

A celebration of life for Jacki will be held Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Shannon Rufe Snow Drive Funeral C, 6001 Rufe Snow Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76148. Following the celebration of life will be a reception to follow service .
