

Jackie Ray Hammack was born October 31, 1951 at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. As a lifelong resident of Texas Jackie grew up near Diamond Hill and the Stock Yards in Fort Worth. Jackie graduated Diamond Hill High School and went on to join the US Air Force. Jackie served aboard C-130’s during the Vietnam war and was a retired aircraft maintenance specialist from Lockheed Martin.
Jackie was a beloved son, father, and grandfather. Jackie was an avid golfer; he was also a car and motorbike enthusiast. Above all Jackie loved his family and was an immensely proud father and grandfather. He enjoyed his retirement working on projects with his sons from home improvement projects with his son Robert to rebuilding a café racer with his son Will. Most days you could find him on a golf course with friends or his father J.C. Miles.
Jackie is preceded in death by: his Mother, Audrey Beatrice Miles; Wife, Marilyn Howard Hammack; Brother, David Michael Miles and his beloved dog Sammy Ray Hammack.
Jackie is survived by; his Father, J.C. Miles; Sister, Susan Hammack; his Children, Amber Hammack Augustin, William Jack Hammack, Robert Wright Hammack; stepson Bobby Joe Blakley and daughter in law Crystal Blakley; Grandchildren Annalisa, Cameron, & Dylan Blakley as well as many nieces and nephews.
