

Jackie Jolene Perry, age 82, went to be with her Heavenly Father on September 16, 2016. Jackie was born on March 30, 1934 to Charles and Maldie Landreth in Peacock, Texas. Jackie loved her Lord; she loved His Word and Southern Gospel Music, especially the Gaithers. Jackie was always first to her nursing home Sunshine Ministry fellowships, front row, and ready to sing and worship. She also liked to watch The Price is Right and her nightly routine included watching The Wheel of Fortune. She had such a sweet smile that will be missed by her family and friends. Before moving to Texas; Jackie lived in Jones, Oklahoma and was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed baking pies, cakes, and banana pudding for church family. Her banana pudding was their favorite. She loved her children and wrote several poems about her love for them; along with many other poems and songs about her Lord. She will be greatly missed and leaves a legacy of kindness and faithfulness behind her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Maldie, and her daughter, Sharon Johnston. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Roy Perry and wife Delia, daughters, Teresa Bishop and husband Karl, Rhonda Allen and husband Billy, her sister, Frances Smith, her niece, Deborah Tucker and husband Billy, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends. A funeral service for Jackie will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Home. After the funeral service a graveside service will be held at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery. Those serving as pallbearers are: Grandsons; Rodney Torrence, Chad Torrence, Robert Presley, Jeffery Presley, Nick Bishop, Dayton Phillips, Michael Penniston and Kody Johnston.
Also, the family would like to give special honor to Georgia Carsons, dear to our Mother, like a daughter, who was there for her during enduring times.
