Jake grew up in White Settlement, Texas and graduated from Brewer High School. He served time in the US Navy and was a Golden Gloves boxer that later went on to coach his own boxing team. He enjoyed working on cars and turned that into a career working for General Motors for 30 years.
Jake never met a stranger and loved a competitive game of dominos. He will be remembered for his huge heart and his love for so many people. His smile was infectious and would warm your soul. He was strong, a fighter when life threw punches, but he was also kind and caring. He would help anyone, anytime, anywhere.
