A Life Remembered
Journal Entry – 2008
A sinner saved by the marvelous, matchless grace of Jesus.
A “country boy” with a deep appreciation for all of God’s creations; the woman I love, Texas, the Panhandle, wildlife, fish, good Southdown sheep, a good bird dog, chickens (especially buff bantams), a buck in velvet, cows, sideoats grama (the grass of Texas), and the opportunity to gather these joys into my precious family.
My church, my country, my God. I also loved my job as a banker.
My earthly family is the second thing I want to record. My wife and my four daughters have blessed our life so much. They possess many of the wonderful qualities of my beautiful wife.
James Ray Cox is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years and a large, loving family. His life, his legacy, and his greatest longing was to lead people to Jesus.
