

James Crowe, age 63, of Crowley, Texas passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020. James was born March 26, 1957 in Fort Worth, Texas. Drafford Lee Crowe, Sr. and Allie Louise Brown were blessed with a baby boy they named him James Melvin Crowe.
James was educated through the Fort Worth Independent School District. He played Sports and graduated from Green B. Trimble Tech High School in the Class of 1975. While processing the beginning of adult, he fathered one daughter, Taugnea Gentry. James would later marry his high school sweetheart, Evelyn Ann Scruggs. To this union two sons were born, James Crowe, Jr. and Jeron Crowe. As a young man, James pursued employment with Flemming Foods and Ben E. Keith. While following the footsteps of several male relatives, James decided to seek a career as a truck driver. He served in the transportation industry for well over 35 years. Among his places of employment, James worked with Ben E. Keith, Flemming Foods, Leith Supply, Cisco Masonry Supply and family business Guardian Angel Motor Escort, where he worked until his demise. In 2000, James met and married Denise Goodacre on August 12, 2000. He would have celebrated 20 years of Marital Bliss, two days after his demise. Since that day, James has been a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, faithful friend and servant of Christ. In James's search fo a closer walk with God, in his Christian life, he was lead by The Holy Spirit to join the (AGOBFWC) Apostolic Gathering of Believers Family Worship Center. While serving under the leadership of Bishop R.S. Curry, James experienced growth in ministry , whereas he was affectionately known as Elder Crowe. James touched many lives and earned a few nicknames; such as Crowe, Melvin, Unc (uncle), Bruh-in-law and his CB handle, Rock Steady.
James was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, two brothers and one sister.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving wife of 20 years, Denise Goodacre Crowe, tow daughters, Taugnea Gentry and LaFaye Thomas (Jeff); two sons, James M. Crowe, Jr. and Jeron Crowe (Alexandria); one sister, Glenda Mayeauz (Alvin); seven grandchildren, and one unborn grandchild; three special brothers-in-laws (who were all considered as brothers); Alvin Mayeaux, Gary Warren (Elva) and Dennis Goodacre; and a host of other relatives and friends.
