BURLESON -- James Lewis Donawho, 81, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016. Service: 12:30 p.m. Friday at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel with a reception following. Pallbearers are Vinson Donawho, Jeanette Benton, Linda Crew, Ima McReynolds, Deborah Darville, Veronica Anglin, Tracy Purkins, Cloreese Benton, Candy Zurek, Kim Harper, and Denise Hendrixson. Visitation: 10 a.m. to Noon prior to service at Laurel Land. James was born December 7, 1934, in Waxahachie to Wiliford and Elsie Donawho. He lived there 13 years. He attended Technical High School, and graduated from TCU in May 1962. He married M. Jean Stephens on August 3, 1956. James was preceded in death by his father, 1959; mother, 1986; sisters, Christine, 1987, Beatrice, 2007, Geraldine, 2011; sons, Eric, 1990, Bruce, 1997, Marty, 2001. Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Jean; daughter, Kelly, her husband Chris Williams; two grandchildren, Erika and Jeanne; brother, W.V. Donawho, Jr.; sisters, Ima Jean McReynolds and her husband, Earl McReynolds, Jeanette Berndt, Linda Ann Crew and her husband, Carl Crew; and a sister-in-law, Wanda Dewey.
